Job brief:
We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate action
FB Responsibilities:
The following duties require a candidate with unique interaction and average response time of a few seconds.
- Add and edit permissions and page admins.
- Editing the page and adding/taking away apps.
- Create posts and ads, moderate and reply to comments and Inbox messages from Fans or public FB users in no time.
- Contacting clients by phone if necessarily to follow up and/or resolve their issues.
- Escalating issues to concerned departments.
- Find out how effective our posts and ads by following up on each one continuously.
Job Requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree at least.
- Well-versed in Internet technologies and applications
- Working knowledge of Internet marketing concepts
- A team-oriented, hard working individual who likes to collaborate
- Avid Internet user with strong computer skills
- Blogging and social media experience (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.)
- Strong multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail
- Basic HTML experience preferred
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience in social media or digital marketing
- Experience in interactive communications or online content management
