Job Description

Job brief:

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate action

FB Responsibilities:

The following duties require a candidate with unique interaction and average response time of a few seconds.

  • Add and edit permissions and page admins.
  • Editing the page and adding/taking away apps.
  • Create posts and ads, moderate and reply to comments and Inbox messages from Fans or public FB users in no time.
  • Contacting clients by phone if necessarily to follow up and/or resolve their issues.
  • Escalating issues to concerned departments.
  • Find out how effective our posts and ads by following up on each one continuously.

Job Requirements

Skills & Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree at least.
  • Well-versed in Internet technologies and applications
  • Working knowledge of Internet marketing concepts
  • A team-oriented, hard working individual who likes to collaborate
  • Avid Internet user with strong computer skills
  • Blogging and social media experience (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.)
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Basic HTML experience preferred
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in social media or digital marketing
  • Experience in interactive communications or online content management
