Job Description

  • Plans and coordinates the development, implementation, and execution of programs, special projects, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the program.
  • Oversees and administers all facets of the day-to-day operations of the various programs and activities related to the position.
  • Serves as primary liaison with internal and external constituencies on all matters relating to program activities; represents WUZZUF with respect to program activities
  • Plans, develops, and implements strategies for identifying and generating funding and/or resource opportunities for program activities, to include development of grant and other fundraising proposals.
  • Creates partnership proposals and agreements
  • Creates, produces, and delivers a range of promotional, educational, and informational presentations, and/or resource materials related to program activities and initiatives.
  • Oversees and/or coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data; develops, writes, edits, and presents comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports and evaluations.
  • Develops and implements programs by planning and coordinating instructional and recreational programs; organizing and scheduling meetings; ordering supplies; evaluating programs; preparing reports; providing co-sponsorship programs and leading/instructing/coaching activities
  • Utilizes data reports and information in planning and recommending programming changes.
  • Monitors and maintains use of programs budget and coordinates spending
  • Develops problem solving techniques, enabling participants to be self-sufficient
  • Assist in planning special events and facilities activities

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with partners and internal staff
  • Ability to develop and deliver both oral and written presentations.
  • Proven experience in event management in NGOs or Advertising agencies or related entities
  • Good experience with Photoshop
  • Proficient with Computers / Technology (MS Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Strong fundamental math skills as well as intermediate to advanced financial skills.
  • Ability to forge strong client relationships through exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate a confident and professional demeanor
  • Creative thinker with ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively, efficiently and confidently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to determine informational needs, to collect and analyze information, and to devise and develop statistical analyses and reports.
