Job Overview

This role typically helping in executes growth in our expansion  strategy and executes the sales process to achieve growth target and customer satisfaction objectives. 

The sales engineer will  help in Marketing our company products , services and develop our  customers relation in  several Markets and different  industry sectors in addition to  the following –up with the old customers  to ensure detecting any current and future Sales  opportunities either for new  projects or any kind of operations needs for Mechanical control equipment's .

Will be responsible for Mechanical Control Equipment's  (All types of  Valves like safety, PRVs, control, choke  ,gate ,------- etc.) for Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Fertilizers, Chemical and most heavy industrial sectors.

Role responsibilities :

  • Set goals and objective ,Develops sales /Business plans, Establishes call plans and strategies, Develop account profiles and executes  the sales plan. 
  • Applies Market and account skills necessary for dealing with Specific target audiences such as  traders ,maintenance Dep general managers and projects general managers. 
  • identifies and contacts potential customers or prospects either existing or new.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability /Access ,Timely communication, placing accurate orders ,tracking and expediting orders and follow up on existing clients and accounts. 
  • Develop and  Maintain up to date knowledge of the different competitive products   ith their  strengths and weakness and applies knowledge of channel products to customer needs. 
  • Prioritize Sales opportunities to determine what order sales opportunities need to be addressed.
  • Perform ,takeoff and estimate costs of prospective sales opportunities.
  • Analyze Customer Needs and develop a product plan options  for proposal to customer. 
  • Develop and implement Sales strategies and tactics for individual sales or spare parts opportunities. 
  • Prepare Sales quotations and proposals. 
  • Identify and prepare all necessary Bid and proposal documents Eg.Bid forms, Bidbonds, Affidavits ,Etc 
  • Obtain ,assemble and organize all bid documents ,Takeoffs ,Notes and approved sales estimates. 
  • Aftersales follow up for any technical problems and report it to your senior and the concerned vendor to take the corrective actions. 
  • Ability  to participate in Maintenance jobs for our products. 
  • Able to maintain Several meetings with various background customers  in order to detect and catch any new sales opportunities inside and outside with EPC companies. 
  • Detecting new local reliable vendors for stock markets requests. 
  • Assist in implementing the sales strategy  set by the Department  Sales Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Mechanical, and Petroleum or Chemical ) Engineering  or a related field.
  • From 1-3 previous Sales experience as well as technical experience.
  • Very Good Command of English.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office. 
  • Fair knowledge with Software programs helping in preparing quotations and  Data collection. 
  • Ability to learn quickly. 
  • Fair knowledge  of Shipping and payment terms. 
  • Fair knowledge of  incoterms 2010.
  • Hands on experience working with Governmental ,Joint Ventures ,EPCs, Fertilizers ,Chemicals or  green energy organizations and companies. 
  • Ability to create a good network with several connections in all fields. 
  • Flexible to travel and meet customers outside to fulfill customer needs of being supported and satisfied with our vendor products. 
  • Good negotiation skills.
