Job Description
- Manage, design, review, and optimize the performance of database SQL queries, Multi-Join Views, and stored procedures by modifying T-SQL.
- Create complex SQL query definitions that allow data to be extracted.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration/integration.
- Provide technical assistance to other SQL Developers as needed.
- Create T-SQL templates for future use.
- Handle the full development cycle of projects (analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation)
- Act as the second level of support for production systems users.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
- Transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers
- Write technical manual documents.
- Responsible for the automation of data transformation processes, as well as the visualization of reports for operations.
- Responsible for the implementation of standard reporting tools, as well as ad-hoc visualizations that give added value to operations and/or business.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or any related degree in programming.
- 3-5 years of experience in database programming (ETLs, stored procedures) in MS SQL Server 2012 and visual studio 2012
- Database developer, with experience and fluency in using tools and systems in MS SQL, as well as the use of report visualization tools.
- Able to quickly convert data from data warehouses into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ability to propose analysis, assertive visualizations, for decision making.
- Deep understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design.
- Experience in developing reports with standard tools (Reporting Services, QlikView, PowerBI, or similar).
- Experience in statistical analysis and use of large volumes of data.
- Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
