Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Initiatives Manager who will be the face of supply chain in the innovation delivery process, launching of new products and improvements of existing products. As such, the role requires alignment with a multifunctional teams within The Hair Addict. 

In your role as Supply Chain Initiatives Manager you will:

  • Lead and manage all Supply Chain related activities to deliver the product innovation pipeline and productivity targets, on time and on budget.
  • Co-operate with factories and central functions (R&D, Marketing, etc.) in a matrix team where you represent Operations.
  • Co-shape and establish processes, templates, standards, and risk management across the functions that are required to fulfill your role.
  • Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Assist in team development by removing road-blocks to their work, mentoring them and making a good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Promote empowerment of the team by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with meaningful contribution
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders & manage the relationships between them
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with individuals at all levels including the executive level
  • Proven ability to lead key projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Strong planning processes and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of trust and confidence
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
  • Ability to lead simultaneous initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment
