Job Description
We're looking for a Laravel Backend Web Developer - PHP to work with us on our next generation of peer-to-peer shipping & travel platform.
We need someone with at least 1 year of experience building complex backends with RESTful APIs while following the MVC architecture and best practices.
What we expect from you:
- Deliver results reliably and without surprises.
- Communicate well with the other team members, including the mobile app developers.
- See the big picture and able to comprehend the backend system as a whole.
- Write clean maintainable code, making future development a breeze and not a burden.
- Build upon the current backend and improving it.
- Write unit tests to make sure nothing breaks as the system evolves quickly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferable a computer science related field.
- 1+ years of experience in Laravel Framework, basic knowledge of other backend frameworks is a plus
- Excellent understanding of OO Design Patterns
- Hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of backend web development
- Experience in building clean RESTful APIs
It would be better if you have experience with:
- Stripe Payment API
- Push Notification systems
- Azure App Service hosting
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment
