Job Description
- We’re looking for a passionate and creative applied arts designer, who’s open for learning to apply their art skills in cake design.
- This will neither include the baking of the actual cake, nor working with fondant to create Spider-Man cakes; only creativity and have fun along the way. If you’re someone who likes doing art with your hands and have studied anything in the field, you’re most welcome to apply. If you have a portfolio (including any personal handicraft projects)
Job Requirements
- Willing to learn to apply art skills in cake designs (Mostly abstract)
- Has an idea about sculpting, working with molds and gum paste.
- Researches craft trends and develops creative ideas in order to inspire designs.
- Can attend a paid training (half salary) starting 16/8/2020 before the beginning of work.
- Can come up with creative designs based on customers' style and needs.
- Can create designs based on mood boards.
- Good at interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work from home sometimes.
- Flexible to work in different work shifts and different environments.
- Active and thinks everything is possible.
- Willing to travel (inside or outside Egypt) occasionally.
- Willing to be involved in new projects.
- Can work under pressure and accepts constructive criticism.
- Owns or has an access to a car.
- Can do admin work.
- Can take care of shopping trips.
- Good at running errands.
- Can use: Excel, word, computer, iPhone, camera
- Willing to deal with food, desserts, and anything in the kitchen.
