- Good understanding of networking protocols- BGP, OSPF, TCP/ IP, and security protocols- SSL, IPsec, VPN technologies
- Hands-on experience in Routers, Switches, Firewalls (Multi-Vendor)
- Hands-on experience in network management tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and Layer 1 and 2 connectivity problems
- Working with Monitoring tools and identification of events/incidents
- Ticket logging, classification, prioritization, escalation
- Perform simple activities (Device health check, Co-ordination with users and other teams, Switch restart, Configuring switch interface, Firewall rule creation, etc.) by following Standard Operating Procedures / Knowledge Base articles.
- Prioritizing and escalating with Manager on Duty with (MOD) to ensure timely resolution
- Incident & Service Request Management within Service Level Agreement
