Job Description
We are looking to hire (GIS Specialist) with the following skills and requirements:
- GIS Specialist responsible for maintenance and management of Maps, images, and resources used to support the work of the secretariat. It will also be responsible for managing the flow and dissemination of all written information and maintaining the updating of existing maps and databases.
- Principles, practices, terminology and trends knowledge in the design and use of GIS for modern land mapping.
Job Requirements
- Working in Saudi Arabia
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering or Computer Systems with at least one year's experience in a working environment
- Demography, statistics and spatial analysis knowledge.
- Best practices of mapping design Knowledge.
- Knowledge of land registry management practices and land registry updates.
- Best practices for database management knowledge.
- Expertise in digital design and GIS design, implementation, and management.
- Extensive familiarity with the ESRI range of ArcGIS and Model Building platform products.
- Knowledge with RDBMS and GPS data collection.
- Internet/Intranet-based GIS solutions knowledge
