Job Description

Reporting directly to the MEA Staffing Manager, the role holder will work as an integrated part of the Staffing team based in Cairo. This key focus involves sourcing for both locally based and international candidates of all nationalities. The Staffing Coordinator identifies potential candidates and uses time and cost-effective sourcing techniques to attract the best candidates without using external agencies

  • Developing search strategies (online, by networking, by cold calling…)
  • Pro-actively identify and recruit expat candidates, and continually build a pipeline of expat candidates.
  • Reviewing all applicant resumes and sources for fit with position description and requirements; ensure a diverse candidate pool is presented
  • Effectively phone screening, interviewing all relevant applicants, reference checking and make recommendations to the Staffing Manager for selection
  • Obtaining all critical information on candidates; experience, salary, motivations and fit for the position
  • Consulting with Staffing Manager on recruitment trends, target companies (competitors, suppliers), and innovative sourcing techniques such as events, networking, job boards, external research, etc.
  • Ensuring that the applicant tracking system (“Profilesoft” & MEA Regional Data base) are consistently and effectively used
  • Reviewing weekly & quarterly recruitment metrics to ensure target are being met

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder. Ideally in HR, Business, Commerce, Communication or English
  • Creative sourcing and networking techniques, deep understanding of our clients business
  • Flexible nature and ability to meet changing demands in a dynamic work environment
  • Superior written and verbal English communication skills, with strong attention to detail
