Job Description
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Arrange warehouse, goods, plan routes and process shipments.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Follow up warehouse operations, storage conditions and document cycle to assure best practice for the company.
- Analyze and monitor stock levels to assure availability of parts while maintaining overall warehouse profitability.
- Handle foreign purchase orders.
- Negotiate new procurement contracts that would support company operations.
- Follow up current contracts with supplier and adjust them to current company standards.
- Handle and coordinate company international freight shipments.
- Follow up custom clearance procedures, required documentation and conditions.
- Follow up with supplier timely delivery of orders.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, and power point).
- Proficient in English.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience highly desired.
- 2-5 years’ experience in freight forwarding/external logistics or warehousing/distribution.
- Material handling equipment experience preferred.
