Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE:

  • The Social Creative Designer is responsible for creatively representing information to help fulfill the center’s objectives.
  • Creative imagery and customized designs to visualize information in a visually attractive way that will increase engagement among the relevant target audience.
  • Take into consideration multiple aspects including actual message being communicated, organizational objectives, target audience, and platform best practices when creating any designs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create images that creatively convey a message
  • Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and social media platforms
  • Create designs either by hand or using computer software packages
  • Select colors, images, text style, and layout
  • Incorporate changes recommended by management into the final design
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
  • Create PowerPoint templates
  • Design graphics, banners and other Web images to be a part of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Effectively designs in a clean, well-structured, easily maintainable format
  • Utilizes wire framing and graphic sketches where appropriate
  • Contribute to conceptualizing campaigns and activations from a creative perspective
  • Help create guidelines and creative identities where needed
  • Ensure digital/social best practices are applied and brand guidelines are followed
  • Proactively suggest creative content/designs based on solid understanding of strategic objectives

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ prior experience in a digital agency or equivalent. Social Media experience is a must.
  • Experience working on Adobe Illustration - Photoshop - InDesign
  • Enthusiastic about social media and experience using social media platforms
  • Able to meet deadlines and follow internal processes
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Proactive in proposing new ideas and concepts
  • Collaborative, flexible can-do work style
  • Able to show portfolio of previous successful work
  • Possess solid understanding of design and user experience, leverage data where possible to ensure maximizing usability
  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
  • Details oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully. Quality control is key.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team (Energetic team spirit)
  • Extremely driven with a desire to develop skills regularly
  • Professional demeanor with high degree of comfort speaking with internal & external stakeholders.
