System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define solutions to support customer business requirements and future strategies.
• Designing Datacenters architectures including (servers, storages, switches, routers, firewalls….)
• Responsible for designing, implementing and supporting virtual/physical network environments with SAN storage devices and Windows servers.
• Responsible for working with direct manager and team on special assignments to improve processes.
• Use a breadth of IT knowledge in order to successfully integrate a newly implemented network solution into a customer’s existing IT environment and resolve resulting issues.
• Installs current network operating system on new or existing network devices and/or installs communication equipment including routers, switches and firewalls
• Provides phone support to employees or customers relative to networking technology.
• Analyzes network topologies to determine potential issues and makes suggestions for recommended changes.
• Installs current network operating server software on new or existing server-class hardware and/or installs communication equipment including routers, terminal servers, switches and firewalls.
