Lead & manage all aspects of the heavy equipment operations to achieve targets & operating budget
Responsible for the overall operational efficiency and availability of heavy equipment through implementation of improved policies, procedures and systems to achieve continuous improvement
Analyze data and monitor KPIs to plan improvements and provide solutions if needed
Prepare the department yearly budget and control budget versus actual
Oversees personnel including coaching, training, and evaluating employees’ performance.
Manage the maintenance team directly.
Responsible to keeping cost per hour of heavy equipment within standard rates
Lead the activities of the maintenance to ensure fleet availability
Oversees maintenance and repair of equipment, both internally and externally
Involved in Drivers and Mechanics hiring to ensure a skilled workforce
Analyze maintenance costs and ensure maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date
