Job Description

General Summary

  • Manages sales of the company’s products and services in within the assigned area with assuring the consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales team. Identifies objectives and the right action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

Core Function

  • Achieve the annual agreed sales targets.
  • Collaborates in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the
  • Manages the assigned services and/ or product lines to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales team personnel.

Details of function:

  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the executive management.
  • Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.
  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company’s branches.
  • Accurately monitor the monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Follow and adjust when needed all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with the top decision-makers in the market.
  • Collaborates with the marketing dept. to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Educates sales team by establishing regular cessions in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of new tests and multi-product (Packages) sales, profitability, improved presentation, competitive, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Reviews expenses and recommends proper utilization and saving.
  • Holds regular meeting with sales staff.
  • Reporting Reports to Marketing Director

Job Requirements

  • Highly effective with time management, prioritization and organization
  • Experience in Medical Laboratories services sales is preferable but not a must.
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Email and some type of CRM application.
  • Successful b2b or medical/pharmaceutical sales experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in science or medical field is a must.
  • Ability to work in different projects at the same time “multitask”.
  • Five years plus of experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written) in English and Arabic.
