Job Description

- We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Design overall architecture of the web application.
- Integration of CMS or E-commerce platforms with the required system customer requires, Using API technologies supported by the designated system. For purposes such as payment gateways integration, CRM integration or ERP integration.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
- Developing e-commerce projects using the most fitting tool for each project such as Woocommerce, Magento, Zend cart, or any other open source PHP shopping cart platforms.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Job Requirements
- This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
- Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap. - Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Communication with project manager(s) regarding projects planning, requirements, deliverables & time frame.
- At least 2 hours weekly of intensive studying & acquiring new technologies & skills.
