Job Description
CLASS ORGANIZATION AND SCHOOL PLANNING
- To assume permanent organization in class.
- To replace a teacher if needed (substitution).
- To manage his class according to the fixed hours written in the contract and the schedule.
- To prepare his classes and register it on his notebook . To present it to the Head of English department and the Pedagogical Director when required.
- To regularly follow the notebook of the students.
- To organize and respect the annual and monthly progression.
- To organize the pedagogical coherence of the school trips.
- To inform the administration about the problems s/he faces with the students concerning studies or behavior.
- To inform the parents on their children work and meets the parents if needed, or at the demand of the parents.
THE WORK
- To take care of the students: s/he should know how to receive them in the class, s/he should know their fundamental needs and how to react in case of accidents.
- To make sure of teaching the subject mentioned in the contract by respecting the schedule.
- To propose working methods adapted to various groups (differentiated pedagogy and groups homogeneous and heterogeneous ).
- To propose remediation ways for students who face difficulties in education.
- To follow the notebook of the student and the various communications with the parents.
- To search teaching solutions after a fine analysis of the students, based on his/her observation
- To correct his/her work in an effective way.
- To operate a return on him/herself and examine in a critical way his/her way of working and looks for new solutions for the students improvement.
- To participate to setup educational projects.
SCHOOL DISCIPLINE
- To ensure the discipline in the classes and between classes (physical penalty and ragging are not accepted).
- To take care of the permanent organization of the class (the lights and the A/C are turned off and the windows and the doors are closed).
- To watch the students during break to class and from class to break.
- To make sure of the school security according to the regulations (watching students in the morning, watching them during the break, watching them in the departure hour).
- To inform the administration about the problems s/he faces with the students concerning studies or behavior.
- To adopt a balanced attitude in class and inspires a peaceful spirit.
- To manage the discipline in and out the class with autonomy. To avoid punishments unless strictly required. To prefer to communicate directly with the students.
COMMUNICATION WITH THE PARENTS
- To inform parents about the level of their child.
- To inform parents about the problems s/he faces (material, school work).
- To accept, at the request of the parents, or the administration, to meet the parents.
OTHER
- To establish a dynamic working group with the other teachers in the same level based on mutual respect.
- To participate in the meetings of coordination, levels meetings, classes council, and parents meetings.
- To participate in the preparation of the party of the school.
- To update his knowledge and participates in the workshops organized by the school.
SCHOOL REGULATIONS
- To respect the rules and the regulations of the school.
- To respect the name of the school, inside or outside the school.
Job Requirements
- University diploma: American university, license of letter - Alsun Faculty, English section - License of pedagogy, English section.
- Participation in workshops is a plus.
