Job Description
- The learning support coordinator manages the learning and the development of the teachers and students. He has several missions with teachers and students.
- Concerning the teachers, the learning support coordinator gives them workshops and develop their competencies. He gives them the understanding, practical skills and motivation to carry out their tasks. He will also deliver training sessions.
- Concerning the students, will control and manage the long-term improvement of the students’ skills and capacities so that they can fulfil their potential.
- The learning support coordinator is responsible for developing that comprehensive package that encompasses these elements in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce (teachers), help students to success
Job Requirements
- Necessary skills include excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational ability.
- 5-10 Years of experience in special education or/and academic counseling, knowledge of gifted education is a plus.
- Computer skills is advantageous.
- The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and in communication; familiarity with the goals, objectives, and mission of our school; the ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse and demanding student and parent population; knowledge of individualized educational programs/plans.
