Job Description
Responsible to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial control systems for various automation applications/ processes in various industries. Will be a key member of the operations/ technical support teams for major projects ensuring company standards for automation technology are met, responsible to help keep the projects on-time and on-budget.
Tasks:

Function as a site technical expert for all questions and issues related to instrumentation and control systems.

Lead the design and installation of instrumentation and control systems.

Develop and optimize operation and maintenance procedures and training programs for clients instrumentation and control systems.

Develop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCAD.

Interpret electro-mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements (e.g. SolidWorks).

Develop electrical/ control bill of materials.
-
Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications.

Check quality of assemblers and technicians work and respond to inquiries during assembly.

Design and develop PLC/ SCADA/ HMI software applications based on given requirements and specifications.

Understand client requirements for GUI/communication interface, networking and create specifications based on these requirements.

Work with Sales/ Pre-Sales Engineers to conduct surveys, provide input with quote preparation as required.
Job Requirements
-
Bachelor Degree in Engineering in one of (Electrical , Mechatronics, Computer / Control, Communication) Sections

Previous experience in the automation industry

Experience in Design/Drafting Tools AutoCAD / SolidWorks

Experience in PLC / SCADA / HMI at least in one of the brands (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, ABB, Schneider)

Familiar with various Motion Controllers/ VFD’s

Experience and skill in troubleshooting control system issues

Must be a self starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude

Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy

Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
