Job Description
- Supervising the control of inventory levels and ensuring that they are followed up by studying the position and nature of each item that enters the production process in terms of past and expected consumption rates and the change in production processes that result in a change in the rates of use for rationalization and the absence of stagnant or increased stocks.
- Supervising the identification of the necessary requirements of raw materials and packaging materials to implement sales and production plans in coordination with production planning based on the targeted plans throughout the year
- Preparing budgets for the new year for operational materials and discussing them with the concerned parties and the line manager
- Following up the identification and rationalization of spare parts and maintenance needs based on equipment maintenance plans.
- Ensure that there are no stagnates resulting from poor planning needs, and in the event that they exist, coordination is made to exploit them in other sites.
- Make sure to find alternatives to the raw materials used in production and available with the group of companies to reduce the volume of purchases or cancel the purchase request in coordination with the technical authority at the sites.
- Follow-up of deviations, if any, between the actual and book balances, to ensure the accuracy and ease of access to data.
- Supervising the inventory of strategic items based on the nature of use in each company from the group of companies in terms of importance in the production process and the reflections of those items on the value of the stock.
- Ensure that there are no valid items (vaccines, medicines, disinfectants) that are close to expiring before the dates of use.
- Ensure that the supply (the arrival of the required raw materials on time) and the flexibility to cope with the changes in the production process that lead to the reduction or elimination of the increase in the required quantities.
- Ensure that the volume of purchases for the group of approved items is adhered to in the general plans and that the financial allocations are not exceeded except in the narrowest limits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree.
- Preferred but not mandatory to be CSCP, CPIM and/or SCM certified.
- Experience 5 – 8 years.
- Experience in ERP system.
- Advanced skill in using MS office.
