Job Description
- Attend coordination/ kick off meetings as necessarily.
- Research and assess project requirements and specifications.
- Design Mechanical systems/structures.
- Develop manufacturing drawings and Bill of Material documents.
- Design Electro-Mechanical components and follow up on implementation.
- Assist in selecting the components required to execute the design.
- Develop and test design models with the use of software programs to assess feasibility.
- Investigate the cause of equipment and system failures and fix them.
- Develop structural designs for products with the use of CAD and other drafting software programs.
- Issue Manufacturing Orders (MO) for mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Recommend design modifications to ensure there will be no malfunctions in the system or in the machine.
- Document and write the project’s activities, mechanical design and user manual.
- Develop and apply test plans.
- Integrate the system and perform initial and field tests.
- Participate in product assembly.
- Document and write Mechanical project’s activities and user manual.
- Communicate with the Mechanical team leader to update the work daily status.
- Identify and solve technical issues.
- Provide technical help to junior engineer when needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- From 4 - 6 years of experience in Mechanical engineering field.
- Experience with CAD packages.
- Experience with product design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA and dynamic simulation is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.
- Strong documentation and writing skills.
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem solver.
- Team work and conflict management.
