Job Description
- Update Export Data Base (Export Control Repot – ECR) and customers compliance report
- Handling Day-to-Day export operation function at plant,
- Send the job orders to transportation companies to collect containers from various ports with the delivery schedule & Ensure containers delivery as per offered free time for each port
- Follow up with transporters and ensure being is in line with Master plan through receiving booking confirmation
- Control and follow up containers flow to plant from various Egyptian ports, ensuring both efficiency & effectiveness of assigned transporters & quality of containers brought to plant, aligned with export OP daily phasing in order to achieve monthly export target volume, Ensure all containers are full in port before vessels cut off, and ensure sending related containers numbers before vessel cut offs
- Collect container numbers related to every shipment and send it to operation Unit manager
- Provide regular reports showing vendors performance
- Ensures customs procedures are properly maintained through planning - managing permanent customs committee at plant, control the customs cycle till sales tax refund process on exported tonnage
- Assign surveyors to ensures efficient planning for stuffing,
- Ensure export sealing system applied 100 % with no gaps throw checking seal numbers and gating in/out containers to port from plant and ensure getting reports/correctly on time from inspection company .
- Controlling drawback & Sales tax refunding process, deplete exported volumes on imported raw sugar custom releases permits, insure permits depletion & prepare official stamped copies to draw back and taxes authorities, approaches the export-custom type as per Egyptian customs standards to insure that all exported tonnage have been redeemed/refunded (Taxes & customs)
- Handling & reconciling customs at each Port (Alex, Damietta, Port Said, Sukhna, Adabiya, Qostol Aswan, Auga & Sallom) to ensure maximum flexibility of USCE export shipments & receiving their disbursements & invoices, analyse, check and reconcile their provisions and provide export coordinator with actual customs cost per ton for each shipment in order to accurately build export operation budget
- Responsible for return all customs releases after the completion of the export process from all ports.
- Responsible for issue permits entry ports for all employees for USCE Export Operation Team.
- Solve all the problems facing our inspection Co. ( Tank Oil ) in all ports and issue all permits
- Dealing, handling and coordinating with health ministry / Governmental relation department, insure collecting regular raw and packed sugar samples & insures monthly export approvals is being granted in order to streamline export shipments at different ports
- Responsible of issuing and preparing export shipments documents for each shipment. (COO & COA & COC & COH & COR & Bosla & Packing List …. Etc.) on time – in full as per USCE policy & relevant SOP’s, delivering them to export planner properly & in timely manner, while assist export planner in issuing other export documents,
- Preparing, handling customs procedures, insures custom certificates are being processed properly according Egyptian customs standards in order to continuously release & gate in our export shipments via all Egyptian ports,
- Provide all necessary reports regarding customs certificates for each shipment, regular updates in Egyptian customs laws, refunded taxes & customs, custom cost in connection with customers CF’s & sales orders in order to maintain and streamline export shipment releases
- Building solid relations & network with customs authorities across all Egyptian ports), insures all types of customs activities is taking place as per Egyptian customs laws & regulations
- Acting as (SPOC) for all ports activities, demonstrate effective role in solving any obstacles might delay, prevent containers from being shipped on vessels as per schedule, managing & controlling BB vessels loading at any Egyptian port & work closely with customs company & transportation companies to insure all shipments is in place
Job Requirements
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Logistics Diploma is preferable
Experience:
- 4-6 years relevant experience including at least 2 years in similar field
Knowledge:
- Vendors accounts settlements (Accounting Knowledge)
- Export & logistics knowledge
- Egyptian Customs Knowledge
- Excellent Planning skills
- Excellent Reporting skills
- Building effective work relationships internally & externally
