Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Oversee the technical and operational, mechanical, electrical, financial and administrative affairs of the project.
  • Receive notification of the start date of work on the project and receive a copy of the business, conditions and essays, specifications and drawings, implementation programs and contracts for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Follow up reports on the work of subcontractors and suppliers to the project and ensure compliance with the specifications and received.
  • Participate in the development of the general plan for implementation of the project and sets time slots allocated to them and put detailed plans and executive stages and tracks updated in accordance with the requirements of the job (and make sure the necessary permits) and licenses are met.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Participate in the development of needs assessments of labor, materials and equipment.
  • Continue The Executive contracted in line with the prescribed time programs.
  • Work to find solutions to any problems occur work and to overcome any obstacles from the client and the consultant.
  • Take the review and approval of additional works and excess quantities items runway contracts and identify additional periods for the implementation of measures accordingly.
  • Offer direct manager the periodic reports on the progress of work and size carried out and the remaining work and dates of delivery business.
  • Participate in the committees of the primary and final delivery of the work and follow up the preparation of minutes and letters of guarantee and procedures for insurance on the project.
  • Identify training needs for direct subordinate and suggests appropriate programs for them.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Report monthly to the Director of project management to clarify the achievements and the postponed with justifications
  • Full supervision on hiring the engineers and technicians needed to work in projects in collaboration with human recourses
  • Motivate and inspire others to achieve specific objectives.
  • Hold regular meetings with team members to enhance communication and ensure the sharing of the same objectives.
  • Participate in the development of safety and health professional for the project plans and pursues its execution.
  • Attend meetings and participate in the committees.
  • Propose improvement, therapeutic, and preventive measures that will improve company department’s performance.
  • Communicate with the consultants on the project to see their needs.
  • Prioritize the stakeholders in order to make a communication channel with each one of them.

Job Requirements

  • Bsc in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 20 years experience in the construction field with around 6 years of experience in the project management
  • Strong Planning, contracts management & Cost control knowledge is required
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Good knowledge of engineering programs.
  • Good skills in producing written technical reports and recommendations in English
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
