Logistics Specialist

Main Duties:

• Handle shipping process
• Negotiate for the most competitive rates with carriers based on volume of work.
• Building and maintaining good relations with carriers, agents and other business partners
• Follow upon shipment packing/pickup/loading/stuffing/ entrance / stowing/ delivery arrangements and planning Conformity verification of all documentation at time of shipment preparation.
• Preparation of all necessary shipping and customs documentation
• Tracking and tracing of shipments till final destination and reporting back the Consignee when case closed
• Issuing drafts of debit notes/invoices for our agents/clients and settle up our finances issues.
• Collect/transfer from and to our agents/clients and carriers.
• Conformity review and approval of agents, service providers and other business partners invoices on a timely basis solving in a diligent and business efficient manner customer complaints and implement measures to prevent their frequency and recurrence.
• Solving internal and external problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers' dissatisfaction.
• Improving on an ongoing basis internal systems and procedures in order to favor customer service and departmental efficiency.
• Ensuring service is being carried out in accordance with company's policy and procedures.
• Handling of ocean export and Import files.
• Follow up in shipments and clearance to fulfill customer’s needs on time
• Make sure all supplies are sent on due time.
• Solve customers’ complaints and problems.
• Establishes and maintains a good professional working relationship with suppliers, and service providers.
