Job Description
Job Main Purpose
This position is responsible for the efforts, results, and success of the organization’s finance department. Provides financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions and is considered the main link between the strategic management and the finance & warehouse sections.
Duties and Tasks
Duty 1: Tactical Management Responsibility
- Prepare KPIs cascaded from the Strategic goals to Finance manager, warehouses manager and budgeting & control manager
- Orient Finance manager, warehouses manager and budgeting & control manager to KPIs
- Follow up on the KPIs actual achievement with the Finance manager, warehouses manager and budgeting & control manager
- Report on the KPIs achievement to the COO
Duty 2: Financial Planning
- Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
- Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
- Analyze the financial situation and environment trends to assist all managers and directors in creating plans for the future
- Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
Duty 3: Financial Management and Internal Control
- Maintain a policy manual for the finance department
- Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in alignment with the internal policies and legal standards as well
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
- Supervise Finance and Warehouse managers and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.
- Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
- Seek out methods and practices to minimize financial risk
- Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
- Update and implement financial policies and procedures
Duty 4: Bank and Treasury Management
- Maintain policies for relationships with Sub-contractors and contractors, banking institutions and accountants
- Manage cash through generating reports on cash operations, overseeing cash transactions, ensuring adequate liquidity to stop any shortage of cash, determining desired cash flow through forecasting both short- and long-term cash levels.
- Manage banking activities through managing deposit verification, overseeing online banking systems, maintaining bank statements systems, analyzing bank fees and implementing banking-related changes as needed.
- Building relationships with new banks with new credit levels representing the organization in the negotiations preparing any needed documents
- Maintain a system for customer accounts’ cash management and follow up with the finance manager
Job Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience is needed.
