Job Description
- Responsible for performing all accounting functions within the Finance Department.
- Responsible for safeguarding organization assets and fiscal record keeping.
- Follows department policies and procedures.
- Ensures that accounting activities are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, legal, regulatory, and organization procedures.
- Ensures that all finance services are delivered professionally and efficiently.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Validates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Job Requirements
The candidate must possess the following skills:
- Diploma or BA in Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in daily accounting book keeping work.
- Attention to Detail.
- Good English.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
