Job Description
- Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project and in some cases help to select a site.
- Assess the needs of the building and its users and advise on the practicality of the project.
- Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals.
- Produce detailed interior and exterior design works, drawings and specifications.
- Specify the nature and quality of materials required.
- Prepare tender applications and presentations.
- Negotiate with contractors and other professionals.
- Manage a project and help to coordinate the work of contractors
- Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.Supervising different finishing works according to the drawings and specifications.
- Having concepts about systems within a building relating to, for instance, heating, air conditioning, lighting and plumbing.
- Manage vendors performance in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA), by checking the quality and tracking if they deliver on-time, as per contract agreement.
- Ensure all legal documentation with external vendors are in place and adhered to i.e. Suppliers & maintenance companies
