Job Description
- Provides Sales Team with pre-sales activities in educating clients about Cisco products to protect and grow revenue within the assigned account base
- Prepares and delivers client presentations
- Reviews client hardware configuration to ensure client meets necessary requirements for product upgrades
- Develops solutions based on analysis of business and technical requirements
- Develops architecture and design of projects
- Develops product Bill of Material (BoM) based on client requirements
- Responsible for developing professional services estimates in support of client projects
- Interfaces with other ACT engineers to design and configure complex customer solution packages which integrate/multiple products and services
- Prepares sales quotations and technical responses to Request of Quotation (RFQs) & Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Displays skill in building and strengthening business relationships to assist with maintaining superior customer satisfaction survey results
- Serves as mentor/mentee to provide/receive technical guidance and knowledge to/from other engineers and sales team members
- Pursues vendor certifications to maintain a superior level of technical and product knowledge
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science,
- (3-5) years of engineering experience with Cisco Networking Solutions Suite, to include at least (3) years of technical presales experience
- Experience designing, architecture, planning and implementing routing & switching solutions and strategies
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNP), or higher certification
- Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDP) or higher certification
- Demonstrated experience with LAN/WAN design.
- Experience with Cisco Commerce Work space (CCW)
