Job Description
- Follow up & analyse the purchasing orders of packaging material, seeds and chemicals whether local or overseas to guarantee delivery in time in full and in the proper pricing range in addition to compliance to supplier payment terms as per contract.
- Develop a list of authorized suppliers and contractors in all projects fields that are being implemented in site to guarantee the availability of a good range of qualified suppliers and contractors and ensure the list is continuously updated & supported by new vendors.
- Issue the purchase order and the relevant contracts for the projects and follow up projects implementation phases in accordance to the contract to guarantee contractors/ vendors commitment as well as compliance to their payment terms as per contract.
- Coordinate with the customs clearance for all relevant shipments to guarantee delivery in a minimal time with no extra cost.
- Apply the periodic supplier evaluation and continuously update the suppliers list with new members to ensure competition and the maximum benefit for the organization in addition to encouraging and supporting the high performance suppliers.
- Adapt to the changes in business or goods delivery plans in a way to avoid business or supplier interruption.
- Liaise with planning and warehouse teams to determine order levels over or low stock levels.
- Attend all team meetings and work closely on elevating team performance through experience exchange and the provision of all the required resources.
Job Requirements
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, commerce or engineering
Experience:
- 1-2 years relevant experience in Purchasing
- Fluent English
- IT – MS Office, internet, business Object & Oracle.
