Job Description
- Develops overall production technical strategies and tactics to improve the production performance.
- Directs the efforts of the production personnel to manufacture and deliver quality products in the most cost-efficient manner to meet customer needs.
- Develops and implements production capital and operating budgets and monitors progress on a regular basis to ensure efficiency.
- Assures equipment of the production effectively operated with suitable production resources in order to fulfill general objectives of business.
- Establishes manpower and inventory plans based upon sales forecast, and order history; monitors performance against plan on a weekly basis and adjusts accordingly.
- Reviews and approves requests for process and product specification changes.
- Establishes manufacturing quality standards, methods, policies and procedures.
- Assists with cost reduction issues and productivity improvements.
- Defines and controls scope of performance with objectives indicators such as non-activities, out of process, recoveries, control of personnel, etc.
- Maintains existing production facilities and equipment, replacing or making adjustments to production facilities and equipment when necessary, establishes and maintains spare parts inventory.
- Develops production plan by coordinating requirements with sales, Production and procurement.
- Acts as liaison between the production departments and various company departments in the resolution of manufacturing and production problems.
- Interfaces with product development and supply chain teams in the development and launch of new products that are compatible with design for Manufacturability guidelines.
- Maintains an inventory and requisitions necessary supplies and equipment as needed.
- Directs and coordinates activities concerned with moving, installing, or repairing of machines and equipment.
- Provides direction and focus to printing resources to resolve critical manufacturing issues affecting cost, quality or delivery objectives.
- Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements; confers with manufacturers; contracts for special maintenance services; maintains equipment inventories; evaluates new equipment and techniques.
- Determines process capacity determination to meet current as well as forecasted demand requirements.
Job Requirements
- Preferable to be obtained a Bachelor Degree in Engineering.( printing is preferable )
- 10 at least years’ experience in production and industrial process operations. ( printing field is preferable )
- Preferable to have the mechanical or technical ability in order to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Excellent English, verbal / written communication
- Successful record of accomplishments in worker safety, health, and environmental issues.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate well and work through others
- Motivation skills.
- Excellent computer skills
