Job Description
- Design and implement layouts for the company’s website, e-publications and advertisements for the web and print
- Design covers for the scientific journals and in-house publications such as stationery, business forms and applications
- Update the website while maintaining the look and feel
- Present mock-ups for review and approval prior to publishing
- Archive and update all materials to be easily accessed
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree of Computer Science or Applied Arts / Fine Arts
Previous Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience
English Proficiency:
- Intermediate
Computer Proficiency:
- Proven experience in designing for print, web and mobile applications
- Very solid understanding of typography, color theories and design composition
- Experience working with indesign for print and web design mockups and layout
- Proficiency developing with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience using CSS Preprocessors (SCSS)
- Using building and automation tools such as Gulp.js
- Strong understanding of Web Performance
- Familiarity using Git and Version Control Systems
- Cross-browser Testing and Debugging
- Good knowledge of Angular.js, React.js, require.js
- Strong understanding of web animations and transitions
- Good Knowledge and ability to create motion graphics
- Solid understanding of SEO
