Responsibilities:
- Write “clean”, well-designed code
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Maintenance and development of internal PHP based application
- Work heavily within MySQL to create tables, views, functions, etc.
- Maintain detailed documentation of code and software procedures
- Maintain an understanding of software products and internal applications
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven software development experience in PHP and MySQL of 3+ years.
- Understanding of open source projects especially Joomla.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, EBay etc.)
- Strong server side development experience
- Experience implementing RESTful web services and API’s
