Job Description
- Validate network security architecture of all new projects across the core and corporate networks.
- Validate projects connectivity requirements and formulate security design to facilitate projects requirement.
- Plan Capacity for firewalls, load balancers and VPN concentrators.
- Provide technical mentoring for team on security architecture and awareness.
- Responsible for implementation of all security projects (HW swap, SW upgrade, new implementations, etc.)
People Management
- Provide coaching and request needed training for direct reports ensuring continuous individual development.
- Ensure a healthy working environment for the department employees / assigned team through focusing on motivation initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports while delivering constant constructive feedback for higher achievements and further development.
- Hold regular meetings with the team members to strengthen communication and ensures sharing the same objectives.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Communication Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience, 2 of which in similar position in network security design, configuration and support.
- Experience of multiple vendor firewalls, IPSs, network admission control, and load balancers.
- Proven knowledge in security design best practices, security compliance (ISO, PCI/DSS, and CIS).
- Good knowledge of mobile network/ISP architecture, security threats and mitigation techniques.
Skills and abilities
- Very good English both spoken and written.
- Technical vendor certification is highly preferable (JNCIS, CCNP Security, NSE).
- Able to support multiple product areas.
- Experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations.
- Able to make a significant contribution in a team environment.
- Able to coach and mentor others.
