Job Description
An experienced System support and administration for Redhat & solaris servers and storage.
Main Duties:
- Be involved in an on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support
- Provide consultancy service to other lines of Support.
- Ensure the day-to-day work required keeping the operating systems up and running supporting the business activities in a high level of performance and on-time delivery.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years IT working experience in systems support.
- Must have solid experience in operating systems (Solaris, Redhat).
- Experience in Oracle Servers Hardware connected to HP and EMC Storage is preferred.
- Experience in Oracle virtualization technology (Logical domains)
- Experience in Fabric configuration, zoning, FC topology.
- Certifications in OS admin is a plus.
- Solaris 11 and Oracle Clusters administration.
- Redhat 6,7 and Redhat clusters administration.
- Virtualization (Logical domains)
- Good knowledge of SAN and Networking Technologies.
- Basic knowledge of scripting tools.
- Ability to learn the required new technologies in order to achieve the job dynamic requirements.
- Willing to work in locations all over Egypt
- Also Oracle experience is preferred.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Project Management skills.
- Must have systems support experience, preferably in a large production environment
