Job Description
- Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) for the Plant.
- Reviewing daily critical report and directing action points need to be taken to the team.
- Monitor actual production Vs. actual sales and highlighting the risks if any & manage to solve them.
- Communicating materials annual & quarterly forecast with the supplier and negotiating prices.
- Following up with Multicultural Vendors to assure a smooth order cycle.
- Submitting annual purchasing budget according to market price trends for materials.
- Preparing the monthly/annual budgets for the finance.
- Updating materials master data and parameters according to the planning period.
- Maintaining the optimum/lowest monthly closing stocks on hand.
- Tracking of inventory levels according to the parameters set and ensuring smooth phasing in phasing out of materials.
- Preparing the appropriate forecasts for new initiatives along with the Marketing and Sales team
- Held the responsibility to manage the NCR cases of materials with quality issues by claiming for CNs or re-export process of defected quantities.
- Preventing business wastes which arise from demurrages & rush orders.
- Proposing contingency plans to the demand/production Team to avoid predicted shortages due to outliers.
- Leading a team.
- Discussing figures resulting from the S&OP making sure that all materials will satisfy the sales plan and highlight risks if any.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 Years of experience in the procurement.
- Engineering Background is preferred and graduated from a reputable university ( GUC, AUC, etc.)
- Experience in the direct procurement is a must.
- FMCG Background is a must.
- SAP User.
