Job Description
- Managing the process of making the manufacturing, production and purchasing plans, as well as linking between all the related departments.
- Work with Sales team to create the annual forecast.
- Determine the required capacity to meet the annual plan in terms of machinery and personnel.
- Coordinate with production and purchasing managers to create a monthly level production plan.
- Review the issued annual and monthly purchasing plans based on inventory levels and production needs.
- Review the annual/monthly/weekly/daily manufacturing and production plans.
- Review the determined order lead-time issued by planners before confirming with customers.
- Determine needs to make changes in the production plan based on sudden orders or other unexpected circumstances
- Create the chemicals purchase plan.
- Coordinate with industrial engineering department to find ways of production levels, reducing inventory and costs.
- Create the budget plan for the department and determine any necessary needs and resources
- Analyze the production and purchasing data to find the ways of improving both processes
- Make reports to management as needed
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Engineering / B.Sc. Degree in Commerce.
- Experience with any of the following concepts is a plus:
- Lean manufacturing
- Supply Chain Management
- Lean six sigma
- Previous experience in factories / manufacturing field is an asset
- Good knowledge of good manufacturing requirement
