Job Description
As Data Engineer, you will play a key role analyzing and helping develop technical and business strategies, as we expect Data Science to play a fundamental part of our core product. You will be the main point of communication between Data Science and Software Engineering.
The work activities include, among other things:
- Implementing production-ready data models developed by data scientists while working with our software engineering team;
- Participating in discussions with the technical team about how to improve data sources and architecture;
- Participating in discussions with product people about how the product is doing and propose future steps;
- Documenting the architecture, models and analysis you create.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years hands-on data engineering in businesses experience;
- Good knowledge working with Python for data science or engineering;
- Experience transforming Python models into production-ready software products;
- Experience working in cross-functional teams;
- You’re able to work in an English-speaking work environment;
- Preferred: Experience with Scala and the JVM, or similar functional programming languages;
- Preferred: Experience with distributed, event-based systems.
