Job Description
- Maintain the PBX Unified Communications system which includes Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Presence,Softphone Clients and third party hardware and software integrations.
- Perform configuration, management, system upgrades and day-to-day operational support and maintenance.
- Support and use software programs to monitor and maintain the VoIP system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least two years of experience with deployment and testing of network infrastructure capable of supporting multiple protocols including VoIP.
- Knowledge of telephony principals, concepts, VOIP and SIP protocols.
- Strong IP fundamentals along with basic networking skills including experience with routers, switches, DHCP, DNS and firewalls.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary.
- Analyze system events and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people as part of team with a positive "Can-Do" attitude.
- Experience with all major operating systems and web platforms such as Windows, Mac OS, Linux, XML, HTML applications, and Virtual Machine environments.
- A flexible schedule is required along with the ability to be on call with an after-hours rotation.
- Experience with VoIP telephone systems that includes work with a Call Manager and VoIP protocols
- Experience with PRI telephone systems
