Job Description
- Involved with PLC configuration programs, ladder logic diagrams. Develop point-point wiring diagrams and select components for company-built PLC/control panels.
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs

- Design, implement and improve electrical facilities and systems for commercial, industrial, and utility purposes.
- Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. ·
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction and installation standards and specifications.
- Plan and implement methodologies and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment and/or the solicitations of labor.
- Oversee project construction efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Investigate customer complaints, determine the nature and extent of the problem, and recommend remedial measures.
- Plan layout of electric power generating infrastructure, distribution lines, transmission lines, and substations.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of direct engineering experience or 5 years equivalent experience in the electrical engineering field
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and process equipment fabrication, integration, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work with electrical meters and hand and power tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD
