Job Description
As a member of a project team, the Civil Engineer will perform engineering and design duties, which require application of engineering principles. Assignments are closely supervised and are designed to further develop employee’s job knowledge and abilities.
- Developing civil shop drawings at different project stages.
- Coordinating civil shop drawings with architecture and electromechanical components.
- Preparing and reviewing quantity survey activities.
- Handling RFIs and VOs and their implications on different drawings set.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in civil engineering or similar degree.
- 3 years of experience in consulting or contracting office in Egypt or MENA/GCC.
- Experience in residential and commercial projects
- Mastering different drawing tools.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High team work skills.
- English is a must
- Engineering design software.
Skills
- Knowledge of steel and concrete design
- Good knowledge of structural analysis
- Knowledge of post-tensioning design is preferred
- Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
- Working in a team environment Communicating effectively with co-workers, vendors,clients, etc.
