Job Description
- Perform Configuration Management duties to assist software development teams.
- Define Application Build and deployment packages.
- Prepare Software packages and its related documentation.
- Automate application build procedures.
- Prepare software version and label for development package deployments.
- Manage software branching and merging activities.
- Control software changes that will be released into application environments.
- Identify software component dependencies between concurrent software development projects.
- Manage software component dependencies being released into application environments.
- Provide Configuration Management Reporting/Analysis.
- Configuration Management integration with Release Management Procedures.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of practical experience implementing a configuration management and software release process
- Experience automating deploy/installs to multiple servers in parallel
- Practical experience with client server and internet technologies source code configuration, versioning and promotion.
- Current hands-on experience with configuration management automation packages.
- Must be willing to be available outside of normal business hours for CM activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Deep Knowledge of Team Foundation Server with an emphasis on build capabilities (TFS 2015 and above)
- Experience with Git branching and merging.
- Exposure to SQL Server 2008 and above
- Exposure to APIs, IIS, and Web Services
