Job Description
Level of Expertise in Required Skill Set:
- 5 to 10 years of senior level Windows/Linux administration in a virtualized environment.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, and/or Docker.
- Data Center automation and orchestration.
- Broad technical background with an in-depth understanding of networking, databases, and storage.
- Specific skills include MS SQL, Oracle, SAN, NFS, and block storage.
- Communication skills and customer service.
- PowerShell and scripting specialist. Must have experience with PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or Bash at a minimum. Specific scripting skills include leveraging REST/SOAP API services, error handling, and OOB concepts.
- DevOps Automation Tool Experience – one of the following: Chef, GIT, Ansible, or Puppet. Ansible is preferred.
- Software development skills – C# preferred, but these can be junior level software development skills.
- Level of Expertise in Desired Skill Set:
- Cloud Experience. Azure preferred, but not required.
- Experience with HP Web Inspect or other application security scanning tool.
