Job Description
- Lead the Human Resources function to ensure that effective advice and support are provided to managers and staff on interpretation and application of policies and procedures and on other HR related matters
- Monitor and advise on disciplinary matters in accordance with established policies and procedures and Local Labor Law
- Ensure that any conflict, grievance and harassment cases are effectively mediated
- Supervise the development of HR practices and processes aligned with the company overall strategy
- Ensure compliance with Labor Law and legal procedures
- Handle and advise on complex people management issues.
- Work with management to review staffing structures, grading and job profiles.
- Develop and manage practical HR information systems.
- Develop and strengthen HR systems, policy and practice.
- Provide strategic HR support on all people related matters, providing HR leadership, advice and solutions in analyzing people issues and challenges across the company.
- Develop a culture of performance management across the company, where staff are held accountable and rewarded for high performance
- Lead implementation, and maintenance of performance management system that is in alignment with company goals
- Ensure that performance reviews are conducted regularly by supervisors; provide training and advise to managers on effective implementation of performance management system including the establishment of clear, measurable objectives, ongoing feedback, periodic reviews and fair and unbiased evaluations.
- Anticipates and identifies potential human resource and payroll problems to minimize the financial and operational risks to the Department/company
Job Requirements
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
- Have at least 15 years of professional experience including at least 5 years as leadership role in public/ private sector
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in English Language skills (spoken & written)
