Job Description
- Build websites, prototypes, and applications using the latest frontend technologies including creating WordPress themes and updating plugins.
- Formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and/or plugin.
- Monitor the performance of the live website, conduct website performance tests, and provide time resolution to reported problems with existing websites.
- Rebuild templates with a focus on mobile design, speed, and SEO.
- Ensure all work adheres to current industry best practices.
Job Requirements
- You should have at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience working with WordPress and other CMS
- Fluent with front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Solid understanding of the WordPress theme structure, WordPress template hierarchy, and the Woocommerce eCommerce platform.
- Fluent with PHP.
- Fluent knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with MySQL Database.
- Knowledge of how to interact with Restful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus.
- Web Services (API) development experience
