Job Description
Manages a team of software engineers that architect and design enterprise software products and operating systems.
Writes product requirement documents, implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with the development leads
Responsibilities:
- Manages plans and schedules for software/Web applications.
- Leads multiple small and large software/Web application development projects from conceptualization to launch.
- Responsible for communicating the product vision to the scrum team
- Responsible for the delivery of a product or feature.
Duties:
- Manage Online Software Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
- Work collaboratively with development team, lead architect and the president to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation, including both brand products and supporting systems.
- Be part of an Agile Scrum team and support the team to technical decompose user stories in the Product Backlog and hand them over to the Execution Backlog
Job Requirements
Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering or Related.
Qualifications:
- preferable experience in ERP
- Experience with process improvement projects.
- Five years of experience in Software environment.
- Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development.
- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
- PMP certification.
- Java or SQL experience.
