Job Description
Main Duties:
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows, and exhibits
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/ quotations for current and prospective customers
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers and provide them with samples wherever needed
- Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Work closely with local brokers/ wholesalers on developing new business
- Arrange and direct delivery of products
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filling expense account reports
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, and logistics
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
