About the Job

Main Duties:

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows, and exhibits
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/ quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers and provide them with samples wherever needed
  • Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Work closely with local brokers/ wholesalers on developing new business
  • Arrange and direct delivery of products
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filling expense account reports
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, and logistics
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Job Requirements
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
