Job Description

  • Accept and validate sales order by checking references and validating relevant information
  • Check availability of order and prepare delivery proposal; where needed select proposed alternatives and update order status
  • Screening of complex orders (specials) regarding technical content and commercial correctness.
  • Managing specials, combined shipment, missing or dead on arrival.
  • Managing sales orders up to delivery to forwarding.
  • Determine with which functionality the wishes of the customer can be realized
  • Decide if the functionality through the catalog cannot be realized
  • Treatment specials: Draw-up Special Order report
  • Describe what the customer wants, where it differs from the commercial catalog and formulates possible solutions
  • Monthly reporting of order receipts, deliveries, sales and stock levels.
  • Discuss this with Line Manager / Product Marketing / Development / Production Preparation / Planner / Q & R. Adapt the technical content of the order.
  • Sending special orders: Receives ready signal of Manufacturing planner.
  • Initiate & run improvement projects.
  • Requests the internally responsible to deliver substitute goods.
  • Creates an invoice and lets the order be shipped.
  • Managing Returns: Receives from Sales the request for goods to be allowed to return. Checks what material is still useful.
  • Interprets the procedures and determines the amount to be credited. Draughts a Return Authorization Report lists the materials to be returned and justifies the credit amount.
  • Drive efficiency of order management process; optimize minimum order value & transportation.
  • Make a selection out of partly contradicting requirements to obtain the most optimal solution for the configuration.

Job Requirements

  • Systems Savvy (SAP, Other ERP) User experience.
  • Communicates with impact.
  • Builds high performing teams.
  • Abreast of logistics, planning, production, transport and installation procedures.
  • Excellent ability to work under heavy stress and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in English is essential, written and spoken.
