Job Description
- Accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to activities based accounting level.
- Monitor actual cost-effective data needed to provide an activity base level of costing information.
- Coordinate inventory, procurement counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate supply chain cycle counting variances and resolve issues
- Compare actual activity based cost with the bill of materials in line with purchase orders
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Generate Monthly projects actual depreciation report as per activity based accounting level
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs to projects counts as required.
- Work with the supply chain board to generate material actual received, consumed, returned and balanced report as per activity based accounting level.
- Generate monthly projects manpower total actual cost as per activity based accounting level.
- Collect all the required information to generate the actual cost report monthly wise.
- Analyzing data collected and recording results
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
- Recording projects indirect cost information for use in controlling expenditures
- Analyzing audits of Subcontractors actual cost in-line with subcontracts and/or POs
- Maintaining Management Information System for Cost Accounting in activity based level
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
- Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
