Job Description
- Application of software quality assurance activities for projects
- Ensure software development adheres to company’s defined software development process.
- Maintain and improve the Software Process & Methodology within the organization based on the internal process improvement policies
- Provide process-related training and coaching to Software Engineers
- Create quality assurance plans and revise to meet changing needs/requirements
- Perform process tailoring and software gate review in the project based on the internal process improvement policies
- Identify, address and resolve non-compliances in the project
- Ensures planned reviews are carried out by the project team
- Create and distribute software quality reports to managers
- Collect and evaluate software metrics periodically
Job Requirements
- Degree / Masters in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably with specialization or related experience in the area of software development
- Experience in software quality assurance activities
- Experience in conducting software audits/process compliance checks
- Very good understanding of software development life-cycle and development methodologies
- Ability to work independently and in a team based environment
- Ability to solve problems creatively
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in CMMI
